Addictive Personality and the Young Adult: Understanding Predisposition to Addiction in Adolescents

Addictive Personality and the Young Adult presented by Eileen Sullivan, a Licensed Social Worker and a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Eileen is a staff member at Centennial Counseling and specializes in addiction, adolescent issues, adults, family and relationship problems, self-esteem, mood and anxiety disorders and behavioral concerns.

1. How to discern symptoms and characteristics manifested in the addictive person and how to diminish/correct their negative impact on the young adult’s interpersonal and family relationships.

2. How to identify the impact of depression, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem on youth and best practices for support and treatment.

3. To identify advances in the assessment of at-risk factors for adolescents and young adults and their treatment.
