Music

The overall goal in general music is to develop musically and to foster an enjoyment of music through a range of learning experiences

All day kindergarten students attend music twice a week, and half day students attend once a week. Students in first, second, third, fourth, and fifth grades also attend music class once a week. All classes are thirty minutes long, and students will spend time singing, dancing, playing instruments, and listening this year.

Students in first, third, and fifth grades will perform in after-school music programs. The performances will be in the evening, and I will send home additional information closer to the date.
