We have been closely monitoring weather conditions and conferring with other local agencies and our operational staff. All D303 schools will be open and operating on a normal schedule tomorrow–Tuesday, Jan. 21. We anticipate and are working to ensure regular operations on our busing routes and in our school buildings. We encourage staff and families to dress for subzero temperatures. As always, families have the option of keeping their children home if they believe the weather is too cold to be outside.

Special Education services and interventions are provided for any student who exhibits significant learning, social, emotional, or behavioral difficulties for the purpose of promoting their academic, personal, and career development.
The district provides a continuum of services from prevention to remediation. Programs are provided in a continuum of locations from the regular classroom to residential schools. Special Education Service members closely coordinate their efforts with all education personnel to facilitate the delivery of consultation, special services and programming in an environment which is least restrictive to the students.
